Ashlar is an embroidery that combines the rustic charm of early English crewelwork with the colourful richness of antique Persian textiles. A host of charming butterflies and insects hide amongst the stylized flower heads of this bold tree of life. The stitch work adds dimension and texture whilst innovative colour combinations reflect some of the sumptuous colour choices within the collection. Strong rich multicolours on a luxurious neutral linen herringbone ground.
