In 2007, driven by a deep appreciation for textiles and soft furnishings, Modern 2 was born in Hillsborough, Sheffield.
What began as a delightful pursuit of crafting blinds and curtains for our neighbors soon revealed the transformative power of fabrics and wallpapers in bringing joy to homes.
Dawn, the founder of Modern 2, witnessed firsthand how these elements allowed customers to unleash their creativity.
From humble beginnings and a dedication to self-learning the crafts and design of soft furnishings and interiors, we took the leap to establish a small shop offering made-to-measure services.
Our unwavering focus has always been to provide customers with an extensive range of forward-thinking brands, enabling them to express their unique style through fabric and wallpaper.
In January 2021, we took the next step to cater to our customers' convenience by offering an online shopping experience, allowing you to explore and shop from the comfort of your own home.
